![]() ![]() I remember that when I was kid the bosses scared the hell out of me with that sense of challenge and danger it offered. They were full of gimmicks and dangers, and were fantastic visually. Levels felt creative, big, and well designed. Those two things provided an incredible immersion that I cant recall feeling in a lot of other games. The soundtrack is brilliant, one of the best VG OSTs IMO, it completely fit the atmosphere of the stage you were playing while making you feel something with all kind of melodic tunes. Graphics were simple (yet amazing for that console), but the art and design clearly compensates for that. Yes, the isometric perspective is painful to deal with in a platformer, but everything else is just amazingly done. A lot of time it's like it doesnt even exist.Īnd I wonder why, because the game it's amazing IMO. ![]() I always find funny that this game never come up in almost any discussion about old Sonic games.
